While this is designed as a toy for babies, I purchased it for my 3 year old son who has autism. He always likes to have something in his hands, especially things that are flexible. He enjoys being able to bend and manipulate the crinkle paper and I think he likes the noise it makes too. I admit that when I first got it I thought there wasn’t much too it. I could make one myself, but the reality is that I don’t have the time to do that so I am happy with this purchase. I have purchased several of these so that I always have one in the car, at home, or at school. The crinkle paper keeps his hands busy so that he doesn’t get into other things that I don’t want him to. The one I got for my son is green with stars on it, but for a baby you may like the black and white design shown above.
